To say that I have taken a break would be a misrepresentation of how I've spent my time, but you could say I have taken a break from painting. We moved over the summer from Arizona to Utah, our 11th move in that many years. The weekend after we moved I found out that I was expecting baby number five which turned out to be babies number five and number six. We have been building our dream home, running kids around, growing twins and anticipating our 12th and final move after 12 years of marriage. During most of this time Nate has been working in Arizona 2 to 4 days a week. We hope to close and move into our house in the next few weeks. I am so excited to move into my new home and use my new studio; however, with a move, newborn twins and six boys to take care of I can't promise that I'm going to be doing much painting even after moving, at least for a few more months.
Despite all the craziness, I have managed to have some great painting experiences the last couple months and I will post my paintings soon- Especially since I just learned how to use my iPhone to post on my blog :)
Here is a sneak peak at my studio. The main room is about 35x35 feet, plus it has its own bathroom and nice sized storage area. I'll have to give you a more detailed tour later.
